The existing roof was asphalt shingle and showed extreme wear and tear for such a short time after its replacement, only 12 years ago. Upon our professional inspection, it quickly became very clear that poor ventilation within the attic space contributed to the early aging of the shingles, deteriorating them much quicker than expected. The old shingles were pulled off and replaced with CertainTeed Landmark Pro architectural shingles.
