This project involved replacing apartment complex roof shingles near the entrance of the property. The existing 3-tab shingles had aged and curled, which required replacement for safety reasons. Given the proximity to residents and location within the complex, we carefully planned this project execution to minimize disruptions to the residents and keep them safe.
The process of replacing apartment complex shingles began with removing the old shingles and applying new ice and water protection along the eaves. Underlayment was installed across the roof to provide a foundation for the new shingles. Architectural BP shingles were then installed, along with new valleys and flashings as needed to complete the roofing system. Coordinating with the residents and paying attention to the process made sure replacing the apartment complex roof shingles was completed on time and left the building ready for winter.
