PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

The existing 4-ply built-up roof of this 33,000-square-foot commercial building had reached its 25-year life expectancy and needed our services for replacing a rooftop membrane. Thankfully, following our infrared scan, we confirmed that the system had very little saturated insulation. This allowed us to do a simple and affordable roof membrane replacement for our client.

We started by removing the existing membrane down to the insulation, which we left in place to save on costs. Any wet insulation identified during the scan was carefully replaced for the integrity of the new system. We then installed a durable 5-ply built-up roof, adhered with hot asphalt and finished with new pea gravel. To complete the project, we custom fabricated and installed new perimeter sheet metal flashings that matched the colour of the building. Throughout the process, we made sure the client’s parking lot and surrounding areas were kept clean and free of debris.
